Ròya, playing a key hospitality advisory role during the project’s development has been appointed as owner’s representative.
Dubai, April 2019: Ròya, an international specialist hospitality advisory firm based in Dubai, was engaged in the summer of 2018 to provide hospitality advisory services on a major new development located in the vibrant Bur Dubai commercial district. The original assignments were to evolve the design development as well as secure an international hotel operator. After successfully completing these critical stages, Ròya has now been appointed by AW Rostamani Group as the owner’s representative and asset manager for the 458 room hotel. In their new role, they will oversee the pre-opening activities and thereafter the post opening of the operation.
A new build, the property is a unique mixed-use development near the city’s traditional banking district, the famous Meena Bazaar textile markets, diplomatic area and old cultural center. Construction is underway with a target delivery date of 2020.
Ròya Group CEO Ahmed Ramdan said: “We are delighted to be an advisor for this multifaceted project. Our advisory has long seen 4-star properties with excellent integrated food and beverage choices as the future in Dubai’s rapidly maturing hospitality market. In this exciting project, we are honoured to have grown with the project from our initial advisory role into our recent appointment as the owner’s representative and asset manager”.
Situated on Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street, the property will include five F&B outlets, two outdoor pools as well as a fitness and business center. With 327 rooms, 131 serviced apartments and a broad range of food and beverage offerings suited to the district and Dubai’s growing reputation as a global destination for excellence in food, this new landmark hotel and residential complex is the latest major addition to the Bur Dubai district.
