Ròya is significantly involved with the ADTA and has provided hospitality advisory services for special projects, predominantly relating to the enhancement of hotel and/or hotel apartment standards and classification. Ròya has supported in the initiation of processes, procedures and systems as well as delivery and implementation.

For the forthcoming four-star deluxe hotel and serviced apartment development in Doha, Ròya's role is to provide hospitality advisory to ensure operational layout/functionality and commercial efficiency is applied during the hotel's design development, while simultaneously securing and negotiating an international hotel operator for management of the property.

As Client Representative and Project Manager, Ròya has been appointed to deliver the 100 room, five-star resort development from concept through to completion. Ròya's role is to manage the design, construction, operator selection process and pre-opening. Ròya and its project management division have the overall responsibility to deliver the project on time, within the budget and to quality. Located on Bahrani Island, Abu Dhabi, the project is expected to be completed by December 2011.

As Client Representative, Ròya has been appointed to deliver the 202 room. five-star resort development from concept through to completion. Ròya's role is to manage the overall design, construction, operator selection process and pre-opening. Ròya has the overall responsibility to deliver the project on time, within the budget and to quality. Located on the Cornice, Ajman, the development is expected to be completed by 2012.

Due to open in 2010, Ròya's contribution has been in the provision of hospitality advisory services on behalf of the client, with a particular emphasis on preliminary business and pre-opening hotel activities as submitted by the hotel operator. The forthcoming five-star development is to consist of 403 rooms and 124 serviced apartments.

Ròya was tasked to source, select and negotiate the hotel management agreement on behalf of the client for the anticipated 200 room, five-star hotel in Al Khobar, expected to open in 2012.

Ròya's support was during the pre-opening stage of the 203 room, four-star hotel, which opened in November 2009. Ròya represented the client on all pre-opening activities as presented by the hotel operator, to ensure all hospitality related matters remained within budget, were reasonable in comparison to industry norm, and client objectives remain embedded.

Providing a strategic development and hospitality advisory role, Ròya's involvement is diverse and ranges from master plan and hospitality advisory services to hotel operator selection and negotiation support. Projects currently under development in the UAE include:

Ròya's role as Client Representative was from preliminary concept through to design, development and pre-opening of the mixed-use property which consists of a 260 room four-star business hotel and office component. Opened in October 2009, Ròya provided invaluable contribution in optimizing operational and commercial efficiency of the development, while ensuring the project team remained within budget, time schedule and aligned with the client's vision.

As Hospitality Advisor and Project Manager, Ròya provides a fundamental role during the hotel’s construction in regard to on time delivery in line with project schedule, value engineering to accomplish efficient design and operational functionality, while providing oversight of the hotel operator during the pre-opening period. Scheduled to open in 2010, the five star hotel features 400 rooms with supporting facilities and services.

Ròya has been appointed as the Client Representative and development manager by the client to deliver the 312 room, five-star resort development from concept through to completion. Starting with site selection to opening of the hotel, Ròya's role is to manage the overall design, construction, operator selection process and pre-opening. Ròya has the overall responsibility to deliver the project on time, within the budget and to quality. Located on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, the project is expected to be completed by December 2011.

As Client Representative Ròya was involved from preliminary concept through to operational handover and oversaw the hotel’s development in its entirety. Open since 2007, the Shangri-La, Qaryat Al Beri is a mixed-use development consisting of a 214 room, five-star hotel. The project was completed within a 21 month period under the oversight of Ròya. In addition it includes 161 serviced apartments, 7 private villas, an Arabian Souk, and a 303 room four star Traders business hotel which opened in 2009.

As Client Representative, Ròya was involved from pre-concept through to operational handover in 2003 and provided hospitality advisory services as part of the Client Representative role, particularly during the design development stage. Ròya also provided invaluable contribution in identifying design elements which hindered the commercial efficiency of the property. Furthermore, Ròya sourced, negotiated and secured a reputable hotel operator to manage the property. This led to the Shangri-La chain being appointed, which was their first property in the Middle East region. Today, Ròya continues its Client Representative role with hotel management oversight services for the 301 room, five-star hotel and 126 serviced apartments.

As Client Representative, Ròya's services evolved from initial concept, design and development, through to operational handover. Opening in 2008, the mixed-use development includes a 236 room, five-star deluxe hotel, 53 serviced residences and an office tower, catering to both business and leisure travellers. The hotel is well known for its opulent and unique interiors, extensive conference and banqueting facilities, renowned restaurants and Mandara Spa.

As Client Representative, Ròya’s involvement is to provide an oversight role during the development stage, while simultaneously providing hospitality advisory services to refine the design and functionality of the five star hotel prior to managing the pre-opening phase. Located in the Khalidiya area of Abu Dhabi, the hotel is anticipated to open in 2011.

Ròya was tasked with turnkey consultancy for this 120 room, upscale four-star Arabesque property based in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi. Ròya's role included: project positioning, strategy, development management, hospitality advisory, hotel operator selection, project management, cost consultancy, design, architecture, interior design, engineering and specialty consultancy appointments. Opened in December 2009, the development was delivered from concept to completion in a record 9 months.

Ròya's contribution included selection and negotiation of the hotel management agreement with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, hospitality advisory services during the hotel's design and development through to operational handover in March 2009, to thereafter hotel management oversight services of the 240 room, five-star business hotel, 154 serviced residences and supporting facilities and services.
